7/57 - Tea in Rangoon

The tea shops of Rangoon are an essential hub of social life in Burma. Everyone from the poorest to the richest share a place at the tea shop, seated or rather squatting on the tiny stools tea flows freely for as long as the conversation is animated. The tea producing state is Shan and it's region worth visiting when peace comes back to Burma.
